Far from her hometown of Grand Marais, Michigan, Rev. Catherine Howie serves as campus pastor of Trinity Church / Garfield Park in Indianapolis. Howie enjoys reading, writing, iPhonography and deep theological discussions with friends. She earned a Bachelor’s of Music Education from Northern Michigan University and hopes to graduate with an MA from Wesley Seminary in August 2019. Tomas, her husband of 36 years, shares her love of agate hunting on the shores of Lake Superior as well as being part of Indy’s art and music community. Together, they created Halcyon Arts in 2009, a non-profit which exists to equip and nurture artists in spiritual creativity, through Artists in Christian Testimony, Inc. Howie has two sons and two granddaughters.
