Dr. Al Goracke

Pastor and district superintendent

Dr. Al Goracke is an ordained minister within The Wesleyan Church. In 2014, he earned his Doctorate of Ministry degree from Bethel Seminary with a concentration of study in organizational systems. In 2006, he earned a Master's degree in Ministry (MA) from Indiana Wesleyan University. He received Christ as his Savior at the age of 29, while driving his truck home and listening to a well-known evangelist on the radio.

He became the senior pastor of Hope Church in Blaine, Minn., in 2000. He is founder and president of Hope for The Community Food Shelf, which currently is the fourth largest food shelf in Minnesota. Dr. Goracke also serves as the district superintendent of the Illinois District of The Wesleyan Church. He has been married to his wife, Pam, for 31 years and has two grown children: Elizabeth (Brian) and Andrew, and a granddaughter, Chloe.
