Janelle has a 23-year connection with institutions that have served The Wesleyan Church well: Indiana Wesleyan University and Asbury Theological Seminary. She earned a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership while serving at Asbury. One of her strengths is communication including experience in marketing, public relations, media relations, event planning, crisis management, constituent relations, governance, and legal/organizational policy interpretation. Her career spans private industry, state government and Christian higher education.
Janelle Vernon served Indiana Wesleyan University in the areas of marketing, communication, and enrollment management for more than six years prior to leading the Communication and Administration division.
