Cheryl Mansell and her husband, Dr. Jeff Mansell, said “Yes!” to God’s call on their lives four years ago to step out of district leadership and into urban revitalization ministry in The Greater Ohio District of The Wesleyan Church. This ministry has led them into distressed, urban communities through the public elementary school where they, along with their team of volunteers, have been warmly received. Cheryl serves as the program director for Seven Baskets Community Development Corp. She also serves as resource coordinator for The Wesleyan Women’s Movement of The Wesleyan Church, developing and promoting resources to enhance ministry to women and their families. She can’t imagine doing any of this without a life grounded in prayer!
